New versions available for testing
If you'd like to volunteer to test ebase 1.04 (version 1 for newer computers, including those with FileMaker 7, 8, 9, or 10) or ebase 2.80 (version 2 for newer computers, including those with FileMaker 8, 9, or 10), for now contact the review program coordinator for download details. Once initial testing is complete and we have a beta version ready for public release, we'll make these downloads available from this page.
Current stable versions
Posted versions here are ebasePro 2.20 Release Build. These versions are the most current, stable and supported versions of ebase. These include the raw templates, the runtime version, client- and server versions, and associated documentation. We are working on getting previous versions of ebasePro and ebase Classic posted.
Download the installer below, then launch it to install ebasePro on your computer. The installer will prompt you to install either the runtime software (if you don't own a copy of Filemaker Pro 5.0 or 6.0) or the ebasePro templates. You must have Administrator privileges on your Windows machine to install this software.
Once you have installed the software, please read the ReadMe file that comes with this software to get started on using ebase.
There are two version of the ebasePro installer for the Macintosh:
- The ebasePro 2.20 single user and runtime files To install this version, launch the .dmg file and copy the contents of the virtual disk to your Applications folder. Eject the virtual disk, then launch the ebase file. Once you have installed the software, please read the ReadMe file that comes with this software to get started on using ebase.
- The ebasePro 2.20 multi-user, server-client To install these files, launch the .dmg file and copy the contents to your Applications folder. Eject the virtual disk, then read the enclosed ReadMe file to learn how to install the supplemental plugins required to make ebasePro work on your computer.
The ebasePro 2.20 Admin Manual is a comprehensive 331-page, (approximately 7 MB) manual to help you install and configure ebasePro for your organization. Documentation is provided separately from the ebase installers because of the manual's file size.
You will need a copy of the free Adobe Acrobat Reader 6 or better to view this documentation.
