Dates are off in my Giving Level Report, why? (v1.06)

When I generate my Giving Level Reports (GLR) the columns (YTD$, Last Year$, Life$) do not seem to represent what is in the database. I don't know how the time windows are set, they don't seem to be calendar years. It is Feb 2008 now and I wish to generate a GLR for Dec 31 2007 that would show YTD as all 2007 contributions, last year as 2006 and life as life. How do you set the date parameters and why might the date columns be messed up? Any insight on how I can fix this would be greatly appreciated.

Giving Level Report
The year-by-year summaries are calculated on fiscal years. You can set the start month of your fiscal year in one of the steps in the setup wizard. Go to the Admin tab and step through the wizard.
The YTD$ summary will always be the current year, Last Year $ always the previous year. There isn't a way to run a retroactive report.
