Premium users?
I've observed that both Dave and Matthew can't view my posts.
My posts seem to be checked "access restricted for non-premium users" by default.
Could this "premium user" feature be the cause? What is this feature supposed to do for us, and where did it come from?
It's an easier way to handle permissions...
separated by member/nonmember because it can be linked to a subscriber end date and it show a portion of the post (instead of popping an Access Denied error).
You can make particular posts public by unchecking premium content in the Author section of the post.
Documentation?
Thanks for the upgrade, Bob.
Can you provide a link (or links) to resources for learning to upgrade? I missed most of this morning's discussion, but as of when I left it was sounding like upgrading (while preserving existing content) required more skill than anyone else on TAC has. Additional resources would help bridge the gap.
Upgrade instructions...
are in a text file that comes with each version of Drupal. Upgrades can be tricky (just like with ebase) but if you read the directions carefully and have a backup, it's simply a series of steps.
