ebase needs your help, talents, drive and ideas.

Join in the fun! Sharpen old skills or learn new ones! Experience desired but not required!

What fun you ask? To answer that question, think back to the day you first started using ebase. You probably asked yourself – this program is powerful, flexible, and its for free? What’s the catch?

The catch is… as with all powerful tools, what you get out of it depends on what you put into it. What you put into it can mean time, money, energy, thought – and occasionally it means to give back.

ebase is more than just software, it’s a dynamic and active community of nonprofit organizations banding together to solve our own problems. Open source communities work best when everyone jumps in and helps out.

The fun is being part of the solution. It takes many hands to keep this movie rolling, from best boy to fx to the stars riding into the sunset.

The fun begins here:

Maintenance tasks
--Membership processing and troubleshooting
--Email list processing
--Public questions (marketing, orientation)
--Support questions
--Server hardware monitoring
--Security monitoring

Document tasks
--Update Administrator Manual as enhancements made and bugs fixed

The ebase Technical Advisory Committee is the backbone of the entire effort. It is comprised of consultants and end-users with various skills. We wish to reflect the ebase community-at-large. To this end, we’re asking you to consider volunteering – for either a specific project, a period of time, or as you can fit it in!
